To celebrate the start of Autumn, the citizens of Snohomish Valley particpiate in an annual pumpkin hurling contest and medieval fair. The mention of trebuchets and cannons certainly peeked our interest, so this past Sunday we headed towards the valley to see some real pumpkin chunkin'.
Sorry for the lack of pumpkins flying through the air, but they were quite fast and I was not able to get great pictures of the actual hurling. :) However, we did manage to get a few great shots of the medieval festivities; like jousting.
