Out and About

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

My family's last days were spent exploring the city.

Our first stop was Kelly Park; located at the top of Queen Anne.  This park boasts wonderful views of the city line and the night views are even more breathtaking.

We then headed to Volunteer Park to enjoy the intriguing Asian Art Museum and Conservetory.

Our final hours were spent climbing the Volunteer Park Water Tower.  At 520 feet, it is the highest point in Capital Hill.  It provides great exercise and fun views of the city.

We finished our day at Volunteer Park Cafe; a neighborhood restaurant located in Capital Hill not far from Volunteer Park.
